Dear Friends,

I am writing on behalf of Jean Wassenaar's family to let you know that she passed away last Monday, November 2.  There will be a memorial service this Saturday, November 14 to honor and celebrate Jean's life at:

12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Visitation with family
1:00 - 2:30 p.m.  Memorial service
2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Reception

Her sons, Matt and Mike, have also set up a memorial fund in Jean’s name.  Donations to the Jean Wassenaar Memorial Fund can be made to: Drake Bank, 60 East Plato Blvd., Ste. 100, Saint Paul, MN  55109. 

The money we receive will go to organizations near and dear to Jean's heart--Legal Aid Society, Southside Family Nurturing Center, Powderhorn Residents Group and KFAI Radio.

We loved Jean dearly, and miss her terribly.  We want to remember and celebrate her as the incredible woman she was.
