MADISON - Dean P. Fleming, age 65, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006. He was born on May 14, 1941, in Highland, the ninth of 11 children to Edward and Marscleite (Williams) Fleming. Dean retired from Oscar Mayer after 30 years and was always at his happiest during family functions interacting with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with all of his relatives. He is survived by four sons, James (Kristin), Scott, Flint (Tomi) and Chad (Kelly); grandchildren, Erica, Tony, Dani, Ashley, Aspen, Brett and Brooklyn; and brothers and sisters, Doyle (Jane), Mary, Ann, Bob, Margaret (Dick), John (Luainne), Jim (Joan) and Susie. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene; and brothers-in-law, Chuck and Jim. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at BLESSED SACREMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2131 Rowley Ave., Madison at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Ronald Kreul, O.P. officiating.
